Terms of Use
This site (together with any successor site(s) and all Services (as defined below), the "Site") is operated by Global Trust Limited (“GTL,” "we," "us"). Your use of the Site is governed by these Terms of Use (this "Agreement"), regardless of how you access the Site (including through the Internet, through Wireless Access Protocol (commonly referred to as "WAP"), through a mobile network, or otherwise).
Acceptance of Terms. By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Agreement and to any additional rules and guidelines that we post on the Site. We may make changes to this Agreement from time to time; we may notify you of such changes by any reasonable means, including by posting the revised version of this Agreement on the Site. Your use of the Site following changes to this Agreement will constitute your acceptance of those changes. We may, at any time, modify or discontinue all or part of the Site; refuse to provide any user with access to the Site; charge, modify, or waive fees required to use the Site; or offer opportunities to some or all Site users.
Jurisdiction. The Site is controlled and/or operated from the Republic of Seychelles, and is not intended to subject us to non-Republic of Seychelles jurisdiction or laws, except as otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement. The Site may not be appropriate or available for use in some jurisdictions outside of the Republic of Seychelles. If you access the Site, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules, and regulations. We may limit the Site's availability, in whole or in part, to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction we choose, at any time and in GTL’s sole discretion.
Description of the Services. We provide users of the Site with access to general information and services about us, including without limitation: (a) information such as newsletters, articles, personnel profiles, event details, videos, photos, text, data, and other similar content and (b) services such as event registration, subscription management, research tools, video players, and links to third-party websites (such information and services, collectively, the "Services").
Information You Submit. Your submission of information through the Site is governed by GTL’s Privacy Policy, which is located at (the “ Privacy Policy ”). You agree that all information you provide to us is true, accurate, and complete, and you will maintain and update such information regularly. If you choose to make any of your personally identifiable or other information publicly available on the Site, you do so at your own risk.
Rules of Conduct. While using the Site you will comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. In addition, we expect users of the Site to respect the rights and dignity of others. Your use of the Site is conditioned on your compliance with the rules of conduct set forth; your failure to comply with such rules may result in termination of your access to the Site. You agree that you will not:
Use the Site for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
Use the Site to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others, including without limitation others' privacy rights or rights of publicity, or harvest or collect personally identifiable information about other users of the Site.
Impersonate any person or entity, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity in connection with the Site; or express or imply that we endorse any statement you make.
Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers or networks used to make the Site available; or violate any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of such networks.
Transmit or otherwise make available in connection with the Site any virus, worm, Trojan horse, Easter egg, time bomb, spyware, or other computer code, file, or program that is harmful or invasive or is intended to damage or hijack the operation of, or to monitor the use of, any hardware, software, or equipment.
Restrict or inhibit any other person from using the Site (including without limitation by hacking or defacing any portion of the Site).
Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of, use of, or access to the Site.
Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Site.
Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notice from the Site or materials originating from the Site.
Frame or mirror any part of the Site without GTL’s express prior written consent.
Use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application or other manual or automatic device to retrieve, index, "scrape," "data mine," or in any way gather Site content or reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Site without GTL’s express prior written consent.
Registration. You may need to register to use part(s) of the Site. We may reject, or require that you change, any user name, password, or other information that you provide to us in registering. Your user name and password are for your personal use only and should be kept confidential; you are responsible for any use of your user name and password, and you agree to promptly notify us of any confidentiality breach or unauthorized use of your user name and password, or your Site account.
Accuracy of Information. We attempt to ensure that information on this Site is complete, accurate, and current. Despite GTL’s efforts, the information on this Site may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. We make no representation as to the completeness, accuracy, or correctness of any information on this Site.
GTL’s Proprietary Rights. GTL and GTL’s respective licensors and suppliers own the information and materials made available through the Site. Such information and materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and/or other proprietary rights and laws.
The Global Trust Limited name, logo and all related marks are service marks that may not be used or displayed without GTL’s prior written consent. You may not use GTL’s trademarks and service marks in connection with any product or service that is not GTL’s, or in any manner that is likely to cause confusion. All trademarks and service marks on the Site not owned by us are the property of their respective owners. Nothing contained on the Site should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademarks or service marks without express prior written consent of the owner.
PLEASE NOTE THAT UNAUTHORIZED USE OF ANY SERVICE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY SOFTWARE USED BY THE SERVICES, MAY SUBJECT YOU TO CIVIL AND CRIMINAL PENALTIES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, POSSIBLE MONETARY DAMAGES), INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.
THE SITE AND ALL GOODS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, AND MATERIALS MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED TO YOU “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, AND WE DISCLAIM ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE SITE AND ALL SERVICES, INFORMATION, AND MATERIALS MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE, INCLUDING THE REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NONINFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE. WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT THE SITE (OR ANY PART THEREOF) WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE.
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITE, NOR FOR ANY DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF OTHER INTANGIBLES, LOSS OF SECURITY OF INFORMATION YOU HAVE PROVIDED IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE, OR UNAUTHORIZED INTERCEPTION OF ANY SUCH INFORMATION BY THIRD PARTIES, EVEN IF ADVISED IN ADVANCE OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES.
While we try to maintain the security of the Site, we do not guarantee that the Site will be secure or that any use of the Site will be uninterrupted. Additionally, third parties may make unauthorized alterations to the Site. If you become aware of any unauthorized third party alterations to the Site, contact us at admin@globaltrustltd.com with a description of the material(s) at issue and the URL or location of such materials.
Indemnity. Except to the extent prohibited under applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold GTL or GTL’s affiliates harmless from and against all claims, losses, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of, or activities in connection with, the Site or (b) any violation of this Agreement by you.
Termination. This Agreement is effective until terminated. We may, at any time and for any reason terminate your access to or use of: (a) the Site, (b) your user name and password or (c) any files or information associated with your user name and password. If we terminate your access to the Site, you will not have the right to bring claims against GTL or GTL’s affiliates with respect to such termination. GTL and GTL’s affiliates shall not be liable for any termination of your access to the Site or to any such information or files, and (except as may be required under mandatory applicable law) shall not be required to make such information or files available to you after any such termination. We may take steps that we believe are appropriate to enforce or verify compliance with any part of this Agreement (including GTL’s right to cooperate with any legal process relating to your use of the Site or any third-party claim that your use of the Site is unlawful or infringes such third party’s rights).
Governing Law; Dispute Resolution. You hereby agree that this Agreement (and any claim or dispute arising in connection with this Agreement or your use of the Site) is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, without regard to its principles of conflicts of law, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Republic of Seychelles, and waive any jurisdictional objections thereto.
Ability to Enter Into This Agreement. By using the Site, you affirm that you are of legal age to enter into this Agreement or, if you are not, that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to enter into this Agreement.
This Agreement does not create any partnership, joint venture, employer-employee, agency, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and us. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, that provision will not affect the validity and enforceability of any other provision. You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense any or all of your rights or obligations under this Agreement without GTL express prior written consent. No waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder will be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. This Agreement hereby incorporates by this reference any additional terms that we post on the Site (including, without limitation, GTL’s Privacy Policy) and, except as otherwise expressly stated herein, this Agreement is the entire Agreement between you and us relating to the subject matter herein and supersedes any and all prior or contemporaneous written or oral agreements or understandings between you and us relating to such subject matter. Notices to you may be made via posting to the Site, by email, or by regular mail, in GTL's sole discretion.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (the Privacy Policy) describes the information that Global Trust Limited and its subsidiaries ("GTL") collect through GTL website located at www.globaltrustltd.com ("the Site") and how we use that information. Please note that the Privacy Policy applies solely to GTLS online information-gathering and dissemination practices in connection with the Site, and does not apply to any of GTL practices conducted offline. Please read the Privacy Policy before you visit the Site and/or provide information on the Site. Your use of the Site signifies that you agree with all the terms of the Privacy Policy, so please do not use the Site if you disagree with any part of this Policy. Where you provide information about others you must ensure that you are entitled to provide this information to us.
GTL reserves the right to update and revise the Privacy Policy at any time, without prior notice to you. Your use of GTL Site following such revision constitutes your acceptance of the terms of the Privacy Policy as amended or revised by us, and you should therefore review the Privacy Policy regularly to ensure that you are aware of its terms.
GTL gathers "Personally Identifiable Information" (or "PII"), "Site Usage Data," and "IP Addresses" through the Site. Personally Identifiable Information is information that identifies a person as an individual, such as your name, company, and title, postal address, telephone number, or email address. Site Usage Data is aggregated information, demographic information, and any other information that does not reveal a person's specific identity. An IP Address is the Internet Protocol address of the computer that you are using. Site Usage Data, IP Addresses and any other information that does not reveal your specific identity or does not directly relate to an individual shall be referred to in this Privacy Policy collectively as "Other Information."
When you visit and interact with the Site, GTL and third parties with whom GTL has contracted to provide services to GTL may collect Site Usage Data. Such non-PII may include your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type, screen resolution, operating system version and Internet browser type and version. We use this information, which is collected by most browsers, to ensure that our Site functions properly. Site Usage Data may also include demographic data, such as your location.
To enhance your Internet experience on the Site, GTL and GTL service providers may use cookies on the Site. Cookies are data that a web server transfers to an individual's computer for recordkeeping and other purposes. We use cookies and other technologies to facilitate user's ongoing access to and use of GTL Site. Cookies allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Site, pages visited, language preferences, and other anonymous traffic data. We and our service providers use the information for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, display information more effectively, and to personalize your experience while visiting the Site, as well as for online tracking purposes. We can recognize your computer to assist your use of the Site. We also gather statistical information about the usage of the Site in order to continually improve the design and functionality, understand how customers use the Site and to assist us with resolving questions regarding the Site. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to automatically decline cookies, or be given the choice of declining or accepting the transfer to your computer of a particular cookie (or cookies) from a particular web site. If cookies are disabled, however, not all features of the Site may operate as intended. Information about the procedure you are required to follow in order to disable cookies can be found on your Internet browser provider's web site. GTL and GTL service providers may also use various Internet technologies such as 'pixel tags, 'action tags,' 'web bugs,' '.gif tags,' 'JavaScript' or similar technologies (together, "Tracking Tools") in connection with Site pages and HTML-formatted email messages in certain formats to, among other things, track the actions of Site users and email recipients, to determine the success of marketing campaigns and to compile aggregate statistics about Site usage and response rates. Tracking Tools allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of the Sites, to deliver branded services, and to help determine the effectiveness of promotional or advertising campaigns. When used in email messages in certain formats, Tracking Tools can tell the sender whether and when the email has been opened. GTL uses these technologies to customize and enhance the Internet experience of individual users. When you revisit the Site, we may recognize you by a Tracking Tool and customize your experience accordingly.
When you visit and interact with the Site, GTL and third parties with whom GTL has contracted to provide services to GTL may collect Internet Protocol ("IP") addresses. Your IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider. This number is identified and logged automatically whenever you visit the Site, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. Collecting IP Addresses is standard practice on the Internet and is done automatically by many web sites.
We process PII to comply with your requests, respond to your inquiries, and send you newsletters or publications that you request, to provide services, including the provision of seminars and other events, or to register you for events. If you contact us by email through the Site, we may keep a record of your contact information and correspondence, and use it to respond to you. We will further use PII to fulfill any other purposes for which it was provided, and as disclosed at the time the data are collected.
Administrative Communications. We may send you important administrative or transactional information regarding the Site. Because this information may be important to you, you may not opt out of receiving these communications.
We may use PII about you to send you GTL mailings relating to GTL that we think may be of interest to you, in accordance with applicable law.
We may also use PII about you for GTL internal business purposes, such as data analysis, audits, and other similar purposes.
Because Site Usage Data does not personally identify you, we may use such information for any purpose. In addition, we reserve the right to share such Site Usage Data, which does not personally identify you, with third parties, for any purpose.
We may provide PII about you to GTL contractors, agents, and designees to the extent necessary to enable them to perform certain Site related services (e.g., providing web hosting, improving Site related services and features, or providing maintenance services) on GTL behalf.
GTL may transfer any and all PII to third parties (whether affiliated or unaffiliated with GTL), in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
We also may use and/or disclose PII to any third party if we believe that we are required to do so for any or all of the following reasons: (i) by law; (ii) to comply with legal process or respond to requests from governmental or public authorities; (iii) to prevent, investigate, detect, or prosecute criminal offenses or attacks on the technical integrity of the Site or GTL network; (iv) to enforce GTL Terms of Use Agreement; (v) to protect the rights, privacy, property, business, or safety of GTL and its subsidiaries, their partners and employees, the users of the Site, or the public, and or (vi) to protect our operations or those of any of our subsidiaries and (vii) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
By using the Site, you acknowledge and consent to the fact that PII provided by you or collected by us through your use of the Site may be stored and processed by us in the Republic of Seychelles, which may provide a different level of data protection than that provided by your country of residence. You also acknowledge and consent to the fact that we may, at GTL discretion, store and process such data in other countries and will endeavor to protect the PII under GTL control wherever it is processed or stored.
Please note that we may use and disclose Other Information for any purpose, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law.
In some instances, we may combine Other Information with PII (such as combining your name with your geographical location). If we combine any Other Information with PII, the combined information will be treated by us as PII as long as it is combined.
The Site may contain links to third party web sites. These linked sites are not under GTL's control and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of any such linked site, or any link contained in any linked site. We provide such links only as a convenience, and the inclusion of a link on the Site does not imply endorsement of the linked site by GTL. If you provide any PII through any such third-party web site, your transaction will occur on such third party's web site (not the Site) and the PII you provide will be collected by, and controlled by, the privacy policy of, that third party. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the privacy policies and practices of any such third parties. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PRIVACY POLICY DOES NOT ADDRESS THE PRIVACY OR INFORMATION PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD PARTIES.
Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes, and there may also be residual information that will remain within GTL databases and other records, which will not be removed therefrom. We may, from time to time, re-contact former users of the Site. Finally, we are not responsible for removing information from the databases of third parties (such as service providers) with whom we have shared PII about you.
GTL seeks to adopt commercially reasonable security measures consistent with industry practice to assist in protecting against the loss, misuse, and alteration of PII that is under GTL control. Unfortunately, no data storage system, or system of transmitting data over the Internet, can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of GTL servers, the means by which PII is transmitted between your computer and GTL servers, or any PII provided to us or to any third party through or in connection with the Site.
The Site is not directed to children, and GTL does not knowingly collect PII from children.
We will retain PII about you for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required by law and/or regulations.
Jurisdictional Issues. GTL does not represent or warrant that the Site, or any part thereof, is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction. Those who choose to access the Site do so on their own initiative and at their own risk, and are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules, and regulations.
We may limit the Site's availability, in whole or in part, to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction we choose, at any time, without prior notice to you, and in GTL sole discretion. By using the Site and submitting any PII, you consent to the transfer of PII to other countries outside of your country of residence, including the Republic of Seychelles, which may provide a different level of data security and data protection rules than that provided in your country of residence.
